"Very good choice if you come by car"

Very good location, it's perfect for a walk around Salzburg while being close to the railway station. It also has a parking for guests. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel has a nice climate, which feels unique. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok, with enough good options.

The hotel is very vintage which I can imagine could be a problem for some, not for me tho. AC was missing and wish we had a balcony. The hotel is also quite costly for the quality.

"Traditional Hotel and Easy to get to most locations in Salzburg"

The full breakfast was wonderful with many protein and healthy options. As a coffee drinker, I appreciated the small pot of coffee given at breakfast -- especially for travel in Europe. The owners and staff were all 100% friendly and helpful. The location was great -- about 4 blocks to the train or bus. Very convenient.

The Hotel is dated, but everything worked and it met all our needs. It is thoughtfully well-taken care of. It reminded me of staying at my Grandma's home years ago.

"Exceptional"

Die Herzlichkeit des Personals war einzigartig. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal für Ausflüge mit dem Rad, den Öffentlichen oder zu Fuß. Eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung gibt die Dame an der Rezeption. Die Zimmer haben alles, was man benötigt und sind groß genug. Das Hotel hat einen Flair und Charme vergangener Zeiten, aber das macht es auch aus. Alles ist funktionabel und in Ordnung. Für Fahrradtouristen gibt es Abstellmöglicheiten in der Garage. Mit einem ausreichenden Frühstück sind wir gestartet und waren, Dank der guten Lage, gleich an dem Radweg entlang der Salzach. Salzburg ist Immer ein Besuch wert. Gerne wieder im Hotel Hohenstauffen.
