Americas Best Value Inn - Livermore

the office was locked and I was forced to stand outside to check in- made me feel pretty unsafe.

The lobby door is locked. You have to stand outside for checking in. It is hot. The person is talking on the phone. Long wait. Not respectful.

Location

The location was very convenient.

The room didn't have coffee maker, and the office didn't have coffee service.

The location was perfect for me because it was very close to Max Baer Park. And there are many restaurants and supermarkets very close to the hotel. It's facilities were good and the staff was professional. I would highly recommend it.

The pool is under construction.

The going rate was fine. If you need to save and you're traveling alone for a little simple blue collar work the stay is ok.

The shower was underwhelming. It was a bit moldy and badly in need of caulking. Also the water pressure is very light. They must keep the water supply to these units low perhaps to save on overhead. Either that or the inside piping to my room is really calcified (it's hard water in livermore). At least the toilet flushed alright.

Close to family

Very dirty, not well kept, broken structure and the room had roaches.

I could check ✔️ in. The lodging was more than adequate.
