Wonderfully restored guesthouse in great location. Welcoming, friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast.

We loved the property.

Excellent location. In a very nice microlocation, pedestrian zone with lots of nightlife and restaurants nearby. Walkable to all attractions in the city. Posh neighbourhood. Hotel was in the second row of the block so very quiet at night despite busy nightlife on the street. Breakfast was very nice. Good choice of food, especially Italian pastries, with new things added every day. Room was very big, had a fridge in which we received free fresh water every day, hot water came on instantly in the shower.

In our room the bathroom couldn't be locked. The key seemed to fit but wouldn't do anything. We also had parking booked as we came with a rental car. This was all fine, so this it isn't meant to be criticism per se, but I wanted to leave two comments as guidance for other guests. First, you need to drive through a pedestrian street which on weekends is heaving with crowds and some of the pedestrians were telling us that it's not allowed to drive there even though it is. Second, the hotel doesn't have its own reserved parking space but you can just park in the courtyard, which is also used by some shops etc; there are not enough parking spaces in the courtyard during the work week, so there is a person named Dario who will ask you to leave your car key in so that he can park cars in two or three rows - he will then bring up your car key to the hotel reception in the evening; there was no problem with this approach but the first time we were a bit scared to just leave our key in the car.

Emplacement formidable, chambre au calme (cour) et accueil de l'hôte à une heure avancée de la nuit.

Petit déjeuner à revoir (trop industriel, peu de choix et café décevant). Petite exception pour le jus d'orange pressé qui était très bon. Chambre dont la décoration et le mobilier étaient dans son jus.

Very nice accommodation. Renovated with love and had its own soul. Despite being in the center, the room was quiet. Everything was within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent with local food. The airport bus stop was a few minutes away.
