Hotel La Malcontenta

Hotel muy bonito en un entorno muy agradable pero debe mejorar bastante. Zonas del hotel y habitaciones estan bastante dejado y al precio que se paga en Agosto es un poco decepcionante.

Me and my husband chose La Malcontenta to spend 3 days to celebrate our first anniversary and it was the worst experience ever. After the covid situation the hotel was not in good conditions at all and we paid 200€/night. So, they kept the high price but they are currently offering a 3 star hotel maxmium. The grass was burnt, the furniture was in bad conditions, the swimming pool was depressing, the food very basic, etc. So, it was insulting to compare it with the photos on their website. Finally, we decided to leave the hotel and chose other hotels but our fully experience was totally ruined. Although we expressed our disappointment we did not get any discount. INot coming back ever.

The hotel was AMAZING. Stuff, room, garden. Very romantic.

Un cadre bucolique, un personnel attentif et très discret, la cuisine du restaurant est de bonne qualité, le petit déjeuner est copieux, un hôtel avec énormément de charme, les photos sont le reflet de la réalité

On our way back to Mallorca our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather, which ultimately lasted two days. After trying most hotels in Barcelona we could not get accommodation as no hotel would accept our pet dog ( German Shepperd) due to his size. We then had to widen the radius and came across this excellent hotel. We called and Marie, the manageress , was most helpful and said our dog was very welcome. Once we reached the hotel we were pleasanty surprised. The decor is charming and with only 14 rooms it feels very private and homely. Marie gave us a superb room, which was great value for money, with plenty of space for our dog. We were made very welcome and the service was first class. We dined in restaurant on both nights and the food was superb and reasonably priced. Luciana , the manageress of the restaurant, was very friendly helpful and professional. The hotel is situated less than a km from Castell beach and there are some superb hikes around the coastline . We would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting this area.

The property was very nice in a quiet location.. The only thing they have to do it’s put a kettle with coffee and sugar in the room...

You have to drive through a small industrial zone to get to the hotel but don't worry it is set among the pine trees and we walked about 1 km to the beach. All very quiet as it was November. The breakfast was good with a selection and you could order eggs if you wanted them, the staff were charming the rooms lovely and warm and the beds huge and comfortable, restaurant was OK serving local Catalan food.

I would absolutely recommend La Malcontenta for a super relaxed getaway.
