Very friendly staff. Excellent gluten free breakfast. Lovely terrace to sit out on from room.

Quite a lot of noise at the back of the hotel but it's in the centre of the town so nothing to be done about it.

Unless you can guarantee that you will have a room that does not face the square, avoid this stay. This hotel should not ever book the rooms facing the square. My husband and I were given a twin bed room facing the square. We thought staying in the town square would be charming, but it ended up being a horrible choice because it was noisy all day and night. There is no AC, which is fine, but that meant our windows always had to be open. Our windows overlooked restaurants that had patrons lingering (and talking loudly) well past 11pm. We got to hear all the restaurants clean up with dishes banging after that. On Friday night of our stay, there was a DJ until midnight in the town square. It was LOUD in our room. On Saturday morning starting at 5:30am, we were greeted by people starting to set up for a festival in the square. Don’t forget the bell that tolls every hour until midnight. There was no peace and quiet to be had. Sleep was terrible. I will say the staff was apologetic and kind and I wished we had been given a better room so I did not have to write this. This experience was a very low point in our honeymoon and I was sad, stressed and disappointed by it. The best part of this hotel was the relief we felt when our two nights was over.

Location is awesome and partially negates my negative comments

No air conditioning, the breakfasts are lacking. Parking is a problem. Nothing real close, even the pay parking (which is worth the cost). We weren’t told that we would be charged for the drinking water in our room until we left.

The staff were apologetic about the room they gave us facing the noisy town square and room services were good. The rooms facing the square should not ever be offered to patrons.

The property was in a terrible location. Our room faced the square, which we were not aware of when booking. We thought staying near the town square would be convenient and charming, but it was just so loud all day and night. The restaurants throughout the square stay open and people linger well past 11pm. There is no AC, which is fine, but we had to open the windows which made it impossible to get any peace and quiet from the noise outside. On Friday night of our stay, a DJ at one of the restaurants played until midnight and people lingered drunk outside until after 1am. On Saturday morning, people were in the square starting at 5:30am to set up for a giant festival. There was no quiet to be had.

Food was amazing

Lovely bustling square where the hotel was and the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good.

A lovely, family run hotel in a great, market square location. The restaurant overlooks the square. The food is superb and the staff so friendly and helpful. It’s a real find and we will be back soon!

Un hotel meraviglioso affacciato sulla bellissima piazza di Greve in Chianti. Camere pulitissime nello stile tradizionale toscano, un plus che ho apprezzato tantissimo il terrazzo con vista sui tetti del paese. Eccellente anche il ristorante.
