Hotel Laurens

This hotel is just a few buildings down from the water- great decorations inside- very eccentric and astecially pleasing. I have to mention Angela- she was the only hotel staff we saw during our hotel stay and she was wonderful! She spoke English and was very informative, no question was left unanswered from the history of the building to the history of the city, what sights to see, and what to be on the lookout for, etc. Angela made our whirlwind trip to Genova a great one! Thank you Angela!

Ho scelto questo Hotel perchè nel prezzo era incluso 'parcheggio gratuito'. Essendo Genova notoriamente città difficile per il parcheggio era per me un requisito fondamentale. Arrivato all'Hotel ho scoperto che l'albergo non aveva parcheggio e che venivano solo forniti dei pass per parcheggiare sulle strisce blu gratuitamente. Quando ho fatto notare alla reception che su Expedia era scritto 'parcheggio gratis incluso' la signora mi ha risposto che la stessa Expedia ha 'suggerito' di inserire tale voce, anche se non veritiera, perché cosi l'albergo avrebbero avuto più possibilità di avere clienti. Ogni commento è superfluo. La mancanza del parcheggio ha influito negativamente sulla qualità del week-end, la sera tornati da cena abbiamo dovuto girare 25 minuti per trovare un parcheggio. Posso dire, inoltre, che le stanze sono abbastanza rumorose, problema acuito dal fatto che i i televisori non hanno un limite al volume. Sveglia alle 7,30 con televisore alto e bambini che giocavano nella stanza accanto come se fossero nella stanza propria. Stanza da letto decente e bagno squallidino. Da evitare se si è in macchina ma anche no. Scorretto, se fosse vero, il comportamento sia dell'albergo che di Expedia sul parcheggio.

Buona posizione per rilassarsi a Boccadasse o fare un salto in centro in 10 minuti (bus a due passi). Silenzioso, stile difficilmente classificabile (non il punto di forza), in edificio liberty. Colazione a buffet non male (caffè e bevande da un distributore) con frutta fresca e brioches. Cortese il servizio.

Well, first turn off - they don't really have parking. All parking - you receive permit that allows to park at the street, in any available spot, which might not be around hotel. I think when you say you have a parking you do have some gated area or such (at least this is what we had in all other hotels). Another thing - it's just really old and scary building. You'd say it's only 3 stars, but we stayed in different 3 stars around Italy and this one was the worst. And final thing - the toilet seat wasn't clean and even had someone's hair, it's just real gross. The same thing about bed cover - really disgusting.

Удивительно эстетически неприятный отель. На стенах висят гобелены, а на полу примитивный современный палас, комнаты с очень высокими потолками - больше её ширины/длины. Угнетающая безвкусица. Чисто, но примитивнее завтрака за десять дней путешествия по Италии не было.

Excelente, las personas muy amables y dispuestas a dar al información que uno requiere. Bien ubicado fácil para ir al centro con solo tomar un bus. El hotel es viejo pero muy cómodo.

Bon hotel, quartier calme a 5km du vieux Gene (pas de bruit de circulation) petit dej copieux dispose de 2 places de parking devant l'entrée.Niveaux resto a proximité il y a un peut plus haut une pizzeria (sortir de l hotel prendre a droite puis au premier croisement traverser et c'est sur la droite )

Wonderful stay, while the rooms are a little run down, it is a stunning villa located a short walk from the beach. Local eateries have great food and service. The staff at the Hotel are friendly and very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.
