Detective Hotel

The room was comfortable and very unique. The service was outstanding and very accommodating and helpful. There was a sitting room with great coffee which made it feel very homely.

No dislikes.

We loved the quirkiness of the design for each room and that they were based on different detectives. And the design theme for the whole hotel, the toilet hidden in a wardrobe etc. The bed was great, I had a king size bed. The breakfast was really great too and we were able to store our bikes in a secure location at the back of the hotel.

The only thing I can think is that with the Magnum suite, I had to go up three flights of stairs and then down one to get to my bedroom. After a day's cycling that was tiring.

It was in the center of Etretat close to the tourist office, shops, and restaurants. There was a short walk to the boardwalk where we were able to see both cliff arches. The hotel is a quirky Detective themed hotel with some hidden doors and interesting decor. The front desk/owner was very helpful and warm.

Stairs. Few amenities.

The location of hotel was very nice, easily accessible to the beach area. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The receptionist is a kind lady and very welcoming. You have a game area with a lot of board games and also table games. Giant chess, mini pool board etc.

Tintin room was very small.
