Overall, while the hotel itself was nice, the staff and service left much to be desired.

We stayed at the Esana Hotel recently and overall, the experience was mixed. The rooms were nice and comfortable, although one mattress was quite worn out. The Roman Bath and Spa facilities were amazing, but the buffet for breakfast and dinner didn't meet expectations for the price (approximately 200 EUR per night). Some dinner options, especially the vegetables and potatoes, didn't look very fresh. We had a few negative service experiences. One morning at breakfast, the lights were turned off shortly after 10am, and staff began vacuuming while we were still at our table. When I mentioned this wasn’t great, the response was a raised voice and a message that we should have completed our breakfast by 10am sharp. Quite outrageous. On our final day, our room access was blocked before checkout time, causing my mother to go to reception to reactivate the card just to get her luggage. Disabling room access before the defined checkout time is quite odd. Additionally, we noticed two charges for parking on our bill, even though we didn't use the parking on the second night.

I loved this place, so clean and fresh up in the mountains. It's great if you speak Czech, German or Russian but there are few who speak English. Hotel food is basic but good and the facilities are fine, except the bar closes too early ;) This is a health spa not a nightclub town so there's not much nightlife but quite a few good restaurants and even an Irish Pub ! The old architecture, unspoiled by modern building leaves one with a sense of being in a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, free as a child without a care. Mineral water is everywhere, different springs with different tastes and cafes with cakes to die for. Whilst meandering through the park in a state of bliss one can imagine meeting the ghosts of the past such as Kings and Kaisers, Dukes and Duchesses as well as the myriad of famous people such as Maxim Gorki, Edward the VII, Goethe and Steve Ralls. Do yourself a favour and go there !!

The location of the hotel is perfect. Almost in the center of the city, near the Colonada but in the quiet part, near the beautiful park. The advantage of this hotel is the fact that it is part of Ensana group, so you can use different SPA and swimming pools in the neighbor hotels using the connecting corridors I was at the massage made by pan Józef -super!!!

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area, near Colonnade. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Nice and friendly staff in the restaurant.

A CORNER SHOULD BE RESERVED FOR VEGETARIANS AS WELL AS A CHOICE OF FOOD. The tunnel between the individual hotels is an advantage that you don't have to go outside when you go from the pool to therapy, etc., as long as the path needs to be better marked. Sometimes we got lost when moving between hotels.
