GBGreat location close to station. Big room with fantastic view of the river (definitely worth the upgrade). The best thing was the staff however. They were super helpful, even rang up a vineyard to book us in for a tasting. Also when my husband complained that the room was too hot, within an hour a fan had magically turned up which sorted the problem out. We really appreciated how they went the extra mile to make our stay the best it could be.
Contrary to the listing - no gym. We had also wanted to use the laundry service as we are on a touring holiday, but it’s not available at the weekend or on bank holidays. We were there over Easter weekend! But that’s not the staff’s fault, just the hotel policy. The property in general is a little tired and showing its age.
