Hotel Europa

Hôtel bien situé, restaurant correct mais d’autres opportunités tout au tour. Pas de Parking mais oarking public payant à côté. Bien mais pas fantastique non plus

Comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, centre of town. The included breakfast was excellent. There was no kettle in the room to make tea and coffee nor an iron (although this seems to be the norm in Italy). The staff made me cups of tea at the bar when requested. There were no blackout curtains or blinds so the room was very light at night with spotlights from adjacent building and bright sun in the morning. The room was also very warm ( it was December), we had to turn off the heating and open the windows before going to bed to be comfortable. Overall a pleasant stay.

The staff at Hotel Europa were warm, friendly and helpful. When I arrived super early for check in because of a family emergency, I was allowed to check in early to rest which was very kind of the reception staff. The spa was lovely, room great and location fab. I didn’t get to try the restaurant as it was not open on Sunday evening and on returning from dinner out, the bar was also closed which was a pity. Great hotel, wonderful staff. I’d definitely return.

Location of hotel was fine but the city was not a tourist destination at all, and staff weren’t very helpful on providing sufficient information to make our stay worthwhile in terms of things to do and especially how to get around/ organising options for transport when taxis aren’t operating (where options were already extremely limited). Air conditioning can’t be turned off and despite turning up the temperature a bit, it’s still freezing at night, even during summer. Breakfast was ok but not what is typically expected of a four-star hotel.
