White Cave Villas

Great place, with three great restaurant near by, only a mile to Oia. The hotel itself was great with your own personal gate and front patio. Hotel staffs was tending and helpful. Be aware that this beautifully Hotel is walking and donkey accessible only but worth the stay.

We arrived at JTR airport at 0800 and took the 20 min shuttle from the airport to Oia. It was 12€ pp and worth it compared to a 40-50€ taxi. The cab dropped us off at Foinikia parking lot and we were met by (who I believe is one of) the owner with their donkey to carry our bags. This was a pleasant surprise and a wonderful welcome. The walk back to the apartment takes between 5-10 minutes depending on your pace and the route is marked with blue arrows painted in the cobblestone (also very helpful). Reception brought us coffee and cake while we waited for our room. The owners are extremely helpful with maps and excursions. They also booked us a shuttle back to the airport for 35€ (it’s more expensive going back because there aren’t transfer shuttles like FROM the airport. It is only a 10 minute walk into Oia. I recommend walking to Mes Amis and walking through the terrace to get a good starting view. The owners brought us our breakfast for the next day to keep in the fridge. It was a sampler of several items, delicious juice, and even sandwiches for lunch! I saw the breakfast baskets for the next day and I believe the menu changes day to day. There’s a clean pool and the terrace views the sunset (without the Oia skyline, but still beautiful). The owners allowed us to hold our bags in the hotel and utilize the terrace for the remainder of our day cen after checking out at noon. They were more than accommodating and I highly recommend the apartments!!

We had a great stay at Georgis apartments! Staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is a short 15 minute walk into Oia! The breakfast in the room was great! Would definitely reccomend!

New and nice apartment. Very interesting Greek style arrangement. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff. Can see sunset. 15 mins walk to Oia. But Finikia where Georgis Apartments is, is more authentic, less commercial and not crowded at all compared to Oia.

The property seemed to be different that what was advertised. Only one woman working who wasn't friendly. They advertise that breakfast is included but that's a joke as there was NO COFFEE, some undercooked eggs, and some ONE STAR cake and soft bread. One banana for 2 people. When I complained to the woman working there about the coffee she pretended not to hear me. LOCALS DO NOT LIKE TOURISTS IN SANTORINI AS THEY HAVE SO MANY COMING DAILY INCLUDING 9K IN SHIPS so the friendliness isn't there. Mykonos is another story! I would NEVER recommend this place. Also we didn't know that you need to get a donkey to carry the suitcases. So heartbreaking for the poor animal who doesn't even get groomed.

We loved our short stay at this cute little villa! Even though location is hard to find when you arrive, it gets very easy afterwards. Apartment was extremely clean with newly renovated bathroom and traditional greek windows. Breakfast was very tasty and very different from a standard boring breakfast you get elsewhere, it was homemade. Owner's wife is such sweet and helpful lady! Location is good, you get to feel real traditional setting unlike touristy Oia, and you can still walk to Oia in 15 min. Thanks for your hospitality and for the donkey, We will definitely be back!

Traditional setting very beautiful private and very clean but be warned guests with any kind of mobility issues may not be suitable as paths are uneven and it is a half hour walk from town this was not an issue for me I enjoyed the walk

Location more authentic, nice village, 15 minute walk to Oia (and you walk another 10 minutes to the end of Oia), much better value than Oia, George and staff are wonderful, pool small but offers respite from heat and eat at Meze Meze restaurant in the village (5 minute walk). Finikia does not offer caldera views (you can see the sea in the distance) but has charm. Up and down walking so be prepared.

Picture perfect in Oia. Great views. Beautifully charming room. Fridge stocked with delicious breakfast items. The FRIENDLIEST STAFF. Gorgeous views.

The apartment are in a calm oasis and truly lovely and very Greek. It's away from Oia and the hustle and bustle,yet near enough to gain maximum benefit from it. The owners were very welcoming and we really enjoyed eating out in Finikia
