"Not worthy"

4.0

The hotel is not in OIA but a small village outside. It takes 20 min walk to the edge of OIA. The breakfast is very average, kinda Russian style (the owner George married a Russian lady who runs the hotel). The pool is tiny, the sunbeds are on the roof, you soon realize it's quite cold because of the winds, so not really a good place for sunbath. it takes 30 min walk to a not so nice beach and 30 min drive to a good one. The worst is George will recommend you to a restaurant called "santorini mou", please don't go there!!! It's one of those really touristy, expensive bill, awful food places. A "deaf" tries to sell you all kinds of stuff in the name of helping the weak..I mean f**k me! The food was the worst of my 2 weeks stay in Greece, so bad! The bill was 45 euro, more expensive than the restaurants in the center of OIA.. The volcano boat tour is another thing the hotel strongly recommends, but to be honest not good, lots and lots of people, the boat is packed, only 3 toilets on the boat, imagine 200 people come back to change in the toilets after swimming... the walk was horrible, hot, dirty, tiring, the panaromic view on the top is just alright, I've seen better elsewhere, and u only get to see 2 craters, no volcano at all! Later I found out the hotel gets a commission from this! On the second last day, I gave the hotel our clothes at 3 pm, but they didn't wash them until the next morning, and then we were asked to check out at 12 when the clothes were still wet.

"Great little find"

10.0

The owners George and Tiana were amazing! They were kind, helpful and just very pleasant. The hotel is outside of the center of Oia but the walk is easy and quick, my husband and I had no problems making it into town. They gave us a free ride to and from the ferry and offered us rides to the various towns if we wanted them. The only thing was the bed was a little hard for my liking but that was in no way a deal breaker, I would stay there again anytime.

"Nice Apartments"

8.0

We enjoyed staying at georgis's apartments. Very clean and you get to see a part of the island that is not swarming with turists. The apartments are 10 minutes walk from the last place where you can leave your car (which is not from the hotel, is just a normal a small parking square). The hotel might not be a good choice if you have problem walking/going up/down small stairs to reach some rooms. Very nice view of the East part of santorini, breakfast could be improved in variety (maybe fresh orange juice?).

"Peaceful beauty with a warm welcome"

10.0

Magnificent sea views, delcious breakfasts, fantastic hospitality. Our stay at Georgis could not have been better. The location is perfect - it is easy to walk to Oia but benefits from the peace that comes with a small village where the apartments are located. We arrrived on a night flight and George met us which was great! Walking through the village to the apartments at around 11.30 was really quite magical - the smell of jasmine! George really looked after us but with total discretion. A bottle of home made wine was a much appreciated gesture. There are a couple of very good restaurants close by so no real need to head into Oia every evening. Close enough to public transport to get around the island and a great walk to the beach from your doorstep takes around 30 minutes. We would definitely return. Our need were totally accomodated.

"The perfect place to stay in Santonrini"

10.0

In the village of Finikia, near to OIA, you will have a new experience of quietness and tradicional palce in a Greek Island, and very different from a classic hotel. The first impression is a surprise, but enjoy the place and the terrasse, you will be amazed. Georgi and Tiana, will help you on what to do. Thanks to them.

We stayed almost a week at the Georgis Apartments and were very comfortable. It is a walk to Oia, but we made it daily. Great stay.

"good place"

8.0

Nice place but if you want the main part of town, this is not the place for you. it is set in more of a residential area. the TV was very tiny, not many channels and some channels were fuzzy to watch. You definately need to rent a car if you are planning on staying here. if you want a busier part of town where you can just walk to places then stay in Fira aka Thira. The breakfast was good, hard boiled egg, cereal, bread, ham, cheese and coffee or orange juice.

"off the beaten track"

8.0

The landlord and his wife were extremely nice. The breakfast was rather good. Since it can be cold on the Greek islands in April we needed to use the heater/AC they have nowadays everywhere in Greece.
