La Torre

This hotel fited our one night stay perfectly. Walking distance to a wonderful beach, the hotel has beautiful grounds and gardens plus a gourmet restaurant. The only fault was our room had only one window which vents to a hall way. If you go definately get a room with a window to the outside.

We recenty stayed at La Torre for 4 nights and were more than pleased with the hotel. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable with a lovely garden. Sadly we never got to eat in the restaurant although the menu looked very good. Breakfast was more than adequate and we certainly enjoyed our stay. Would definately return if we are in the area on a future visit.

If you're traveling in the area with a car this is a good place to stay. We stayed there for one night on a road trip through Andalucía. The hotel service is great-- my dad left his passport in the room and when we came back for it half an hour after leaving the woman behind the counter handed it to us with a smile. I think the building is made to look old, but they do a pretty good job. The restaurant isn't bad, but I'd recommend getting them to put your salad dressing on the side. And our room was small but comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom. Overall, I'd recommend it as long as you have a car.

The hotel and staff were nice. Price fair for accommodation. Breakfast was the normal, with eggs as an added bonus. The location was is a bit remote, so that might be a plus or minus depending on your perspective. We found that it would have been a good idea to have dinner reservations.

Hotel La Torre is a small hotel outside Tarifa. It is close to the ocean and some beautiful beaches. You would most definitely need a car if you would like to stay at this hotel and go to the beaches and Tarifa. I don't think public transportation is available. The guy at the front desk was very helpful even if he did not speak much English. Our stay included a free breakfast buffet which is not mentioned on hotels.com, so make sure to inquire about it once you arrive at the hotel. We wanted to go to Morocco for a day and the hotel staff contacted a tour company for us and reserved a spot for next day. The room was small (as it is in most parts of Spain) but clean. The hotel also has a restaurant but we did not eat there. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very cute hotel, nice quiet location, good service and great atmosphere! Breakfast was good and the hotel was very helpful when it came to being able to leave our luggage with them for 3 days!Good Value for money....very charming. I would definitely stay there again! Off the beaten track but close to town of Tarrfa

the hotel is about a 5 - 10 min drive from tarifa, but only a short walk across the road to the nearest beach. there is a restaurant inside the hotel which we didnt eat at (it was quite expensive) but the menu looked really lovely. there is free parking outside and fast wifi connection in the rooms. the room itself was lovely, very clean and the bathroom was modern with a great shower. the place felt very secure and it was very quiet. free breakfast was provided which was satisfactory - the usual continental selection of cereals and breads along with cheese, meats and tortilla espanol which was really nice. if you're looking for a hotel which is a bit cheaper than the centre of tarifa and are not bothered about being slightly outside the city centre then i would definitely recommend this little gem

What a great place just outside of Tarfia. Staff excellent, very accommodating. Restaurant food excellent. Would recommend this little inn any time.

Hotel la Torre is about a 7min drive from Tarifa town so it suited our needs as we had a car. Not sure about public transport. Room was clean & spacious, with a cumfy bed and large bathroom, TV has no english channels other than CNN. Onsite restaurant was good, served good coffee. Staff were polite & helpful. Directly across the road from beach views. Perfect if you want to do day trips to Gibraltar or Tangier. Washing can be done with their sister hotel in the town itself. Wifi seemed OK.
