Hotel OK

El entorno está un poco viejo y sólo hay una pequeña tienda de alimentación, buenas comunicaciones y cercano al centro de Riga, 4 paradas de bus o tranvía, personal amable, buen parking y buen desayuno, me gusto el jardín para relajar.

First the positives. Location is great, right next to bus and tram routes. Also there is a very nice hedgehog themed restaurant close by. Breakfast was pretty nice. Then the negatives. Breakfast was nice, but everything was cold (even the stuff that shouldn't have been). Everything seemed to be falling apart in the room and the general feeling was that renovation was somewhat overdue. The chair cushion fell on the floor when the chair was moved, safety lock on the door was broken, sometimes there was no warm water, or water at all! When we got the room, there was a half empty cigarette case and a lighter in plain sight in the bathroom, left by a previous visitor or hotel staff which made me wonder about the cleaning job overall. Also, it was very hot outside and there was no A/C, so the room was hotter than h*ll. There was a fan in the room though, but that did not help much. Not much to do about this, but something to consider when booking a room during summer. All and all, the room was pretty cheap, but based on previous experiences I expected a lot more from a hotel with an average score of almost 8.

Very nice hotel

La primera impresión fue muy mala pero lo cierto es que está limpio y la cama es mejor de lo que parece. El WiFi apenas funciona y el parking es tan pequeño que cuando llegamos ya no había sitio. El desayuno está muy bien.

Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast and parking a great bonus

No possibly to rest in the room because of the noise of the street and interior slamming door. No air-conditioner. Dirty shower with bad smell. Breakfast was surprisingly good. And a big plus- interior parking for a car.

We have stayed in OK Hotel for one night. Free parking is a big advantage, we could left the car for a few hours at the parking lot even after checking out. Staff is helful and friendly with a basic knowledge of English. Rooms are very warm and without air conditioning. Our room was moderately clean and beds are pretty uncomfortable. On the Booking.con page they show gorgeous mouth-watering breakfast, which is far from reality. Bread choice: only toast and dark spiced rye bread, not a lot of options for vegetarians. One kind of cheese which tastes like nothing and cold sunny side up eggs. Large disappointment. Well, let’s be honest price is also pretty cheap, that we cannot argue. Overall, if you want to save money go for it, otherwise I would recommend something else.

The hotel was very comfortable. There was an on sight restaurant with several other cafes nearby. The room was comfortable and spacious. It is a bit of a walk to Old Town, but it didn't take long to get there.
