The house is from the 13-th centiry. So it is an unique experience. It is in a quiet village. Ypu can enjoy the nature there. The hosts are fantastic. It is a very magical, calm, relaxing place.

Nette Gastgeber, Haus mit Charme und großem Garten. Gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten nach Lucca und Pisa und schöne Wege zum spazieren gehen rund ums Haus ! Ein toller Tip vom Gastgeber zum nahegelegenen Restaurant ( Trattoris di montemagno) der 2. Tip war leider ein totaler Reinfall und nicht zu empfehlen ( trattoria da Ginotto)

Perfect location. Old flour mill converted to a B&B set by the creek and an olive grove. Owners are lovely friendly people. Room was very clean and well apppointed. This was our favorite location on our 9 day tour of Northern Italy.

Fabiane and Stefano were relaxed hosts, happy for us to picnic in the romantic gardens full of birdsong, roses and jasmine hedges in May. The breakfast kitchen provides a fridge, electric kettle, boxes of tea and crockery for use during your stay. Plenty of local walks from easy to challenging. Highly recommended.

This was our favorite place during our 10-day trip to Pisa/Florence/Tuscany area. The owners were amazing. The room was really well kept and was nice. The breakfast was perfect. We really just have nice things to say about the place. Definitely will visit again.

Attractive, comfortable rooms in a beautiful building set in wonderful parkland with olive grove background & hills. Delicious, ample breakfast in delightful setting on terrace. Gracious, very helpful hosts.

I normally don't like staying at b&bs for the only fact that you have to share a bathroom but it was well worth it!! First off, we never had to wait in line for the bathroom even though it was fully booked and the breakfast they provided is so amazing!! Fabiola makes these fabulous cakes and is so wonderful that she is willing to share the recipes. Also, Stefan always made sure that we were happy and though there was a language barrier there was never any feeling of ackwardness. the location itself is so peaceful, being from San Francisco waking up to birds chirping was a wonderful change. A must stay!

Our stay at Il Molendino was one of the highlights of our 2-week stay in Italy. The B & B has a wonderful old-world charm and is so beautiful and inviting. You will fall in love with the place from the moment you first see it. Our accomodations were very nice, comfortable and clean. Very good Italian breakfasts. Fabiola and Stefano were the perfect host. They were very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Fabiola was so great at giving directions. We enjoyed the grounds very much also. The surroundings include a lovely flowing brook, beautiful fauna, olive trees and and old monastery at the top of the hill (enjoyable stroll up that included beautiful wild horses).. I would definitely return for another visit and hope that I have an opportunity to do so. Highly recommemded. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 12.

My boyfriend and I spent 4 incredible nights at Il Molendino! From the moment we arrived, Fabiola, Stefano, and Igor went above and beyond in making us feel welcome - picking us up when we got lost, offering us fresh pastries and coffee upon our arrival, and offering to cook us dinner. And what we thought would be a "simple" dinner turned into one of the best meals we had during our whole stay in Italy. We enjoyed it so much that we asked Fabiola to cook us our final meal the night before we left and not surprising, she completely out did herself. The room was gorgeous - nicely decorated, clean, hot shower and with all the amenities one would need for a stay in the Tuscan country side. The breakfasts were also incredible - fresh meats, cheese, pastries, fruit salad (my favourite!), fresh cakes made daily and coffee, teas, and/or cappuccino to order. Stefano and Igor were also very accommodating of the fact that we didn't have a car and required a lot of help getting around - it was also on one of those car rides that we go to meet his adorable daughter Kiera! Never in our lives have we experienced such incredible service. We had so many wonderful memories at Il Molendino and hope to some day return. If you're going to Tuscany then there is no better place to stay then Il Molendino! 5+++ Stars!
