The location is good, very close to the Arena. The room we stayed in—the one with a private bathroom—was spacious.

When we arrived, we went straight to sleep to get some rest. After two hours, I went to the bathroom and saw that the toilet bowl had some dirty water inside and there were spots on the toilet seat. It looked like, after washing the floors, they had thrown the dirty water there and hadn’t cleaned it properly. This would have been fine—it happens—and we didn’t make a big issue out of it. I kindly asked the owner if it would be possible to have it cleaned, but the answer we received was far from kind. The response was: “Nessun problema, domani posso mandare qualcuno ma sinceramente dirlo dopo 2 ore dall’arrivo…… (No problem, I can send someone tomorrow, but honestly, saying this after only two hours from your arrival…)”. I explained that we hadn’t used the bathroom during the first hours and that I messaged them as soon as I noticed the issue. The host’s behavior was therefore very strange and rude. Additionally, there was a restaurant under the building, and there was a constant frying smell in the room. Obviously, this is not the host’s fault, but it is important for future guests to be aware of it.
