Hotel Seltenbacher Hof

Location was good. Easy to book on the day. Receptionist at check in spoke good English, was friendly and happy to share some conversation. Lots of parking. Good sized room for 3 of us..

There's not much else in the area so hard to compare prices but it felt expensive. Corridors and rooms a bit tired (worn/discoloured carpets but it was clean) Breakfast was included but there was too little choice especially hot items. I had 1 rasher of bacon and a tiny bit of scrambled egg that was left. Staff at breakfast were efficient but struggled to smile. Didn't make it feel that we could ask for more food to be prepared. In summary breakfast was broadly functional rather than enjoyable.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Alles war sauber, das Essen war gut. Für Wanderfreunde viel Natur und gute Wandermöglichkeit. Ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig.

Lovely location out of town amongst forests & farm land. Easy to get to town with bus stop right out of the front of the hotel. Onsite restaurant for an evening meal or drink was handy but be aware they close early. Lighting in the bathroom was excellent. Room size was generous. Ask for a room that faces the back of the hotel to avoid car noise from the road that passes by the hotel. Nice view back to forest also.

Pillows but they were OK.
