At first the room was cold. I conacted frontdesk & he turned on the radiator immediately. The gentleman receiving me very kindly carried my suitcase up their very steep staircase for me.

The next morning I discovered I could not air the room as I was unable to open the window. A friend explained something was broken. So, when the weather warmed a bit, it was not agreable to be in the room. My fault perhaps for not asking for a room on a ground floor but the stairs to my were steep & a bit difficult for me, who has a knee condition, to navigate. I say that the property did not meet my expectations owing to the steep stairs. There is no other choices other than a yes or that it exceeded my expectations. So, that was the only chose left. Yet, in all fairness, I did not verify whether or not they had an elevator nor did I ask for a ground floor room.

The room was good. The hotel is just old, not updated.

There were only 2 towels for 4 people. No hairdryer.

I enjoyed stay at hotel. Feel like a home. Staff were very helpfull. Downtown are few minutes away. Lot events going on there. Grocery store are across the street. Thanks
