Loch Kinord Hotel

Andrew was very accommodating and friendly, upgraded us to a superior room and did a discount on the breakfast. We asked if we could swap to the twin room rather than the double bed after one night and it was no problems. The hotel is in a good location for activities such as cycling and hiking. Hotel is nice and clean, good breakfast.

The hotel did not have many guests so accommodated me in a lodge rather than a room, which was excellent. Excellent communication as well.

My husband and I had an overnight stay for valentine's day. it was the first day open for the season so it was quiet but we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome , the room was absolutely lovely and they couldn't do enough to make sure we were warm in the bar and restaurant, which I have to say the food was fantastic. We would definitely go back and would certainly recommend .

Loch Kinord hotel shows it's victorian heritage well. The original guest rooms overlook a lawn and have balcony or verandah space outside their glass doors, and receive plenty of sunshine. Views from the larger front rooms are of the birchwoods which surround the hotel. Inside is warm and comfortable with good quality furniture and fittings in keeping with a Deeside setting. The road along the front is fairly quiet, particularly overnight. Staff were friendly and standards of comfort and cleanliness extremely high. The hotel is a family run business and does not include a public bar or restaurant. Many regular customers come here every year for fishing or other outdoor activities. Dinnet is a tiny village with no tourist facilities, but well located for exploring Deeside. There is a bus service which connects Dinnet to Ballater, Aboyne and Aberdeen.
