Chateau de Lantic

Very calm location near Bordeaux, beautiful castle, gardens and swimming pool. We had the pool for ourselves, the family room is a picturesque suite, with toys from the family, the owners were charming and relaxed. It was exactly what we were looking for. It is not a five-star hotel, not everything is impeccable (and that makes the night affordable as well): it is absolutely worth it and lovely.

Amazing rustic charm and French character

We loved the rustic charm of the Chateau but it is rustic charm.

The marketing photos are very much of a different time. Unfortunately the facilities advertised do not exist or in state of disrepair. The place is under staged and cluttered in areas. The place needs some love and attention to bring it up to its former glory. Chris was welcoming, the room was spacious and very comfortable, bed was lovely, clean bedding but towels and bathrobes for example need replacing.

Es gab ein schönes Frühstücksbuffet und vom Gastgeber selbst servierten Kaffee. Der Frühstücksraum war wirklich schön und überall findet man interessante Details zum Staunen.
