Bed and Breakfast D'Angelo

De B&B is gesitueerd in een prachtig karakteristiek gebouw met een mooie oude ijzeren lift. De kamer (nr 2) was ook heel mooi. Mooie plafond en inrichting. De badkamer is zeer efficiënt ingebouwd en hoogwaardig ingericht. Onze kamer lag aan de kant van de drukke weg maar er waren oordopjes voorzien naast het bed. De locatie was ook heel goed. Alles was op wandelafstand. De verhuurder was ook heel flexibel. Op de dag van vertrek konden we de bagage voor het grootste deel van de dag in de B&B laten staan.

Niet gerelateerd aan de B&B maar wel in de gaten te houden is dat parkeren in Palermo duur is. Zorg dat je de Stazione Palermo Centrale P1 neemt als je meerdere dagen in Palermo wilt verblijven of kom zonder auto.

Angelo est adorable et aux petits soins avec ses clients et nous a aidés pour nous garer et trouver son B&B, il nous a aussi recommandé des restaurant et un café pour le petit-déjeuner. Il nous a servi un expresso chaque matin. Le B&B est très bien situé pour visiter Palerme, près du centre ; il est aussi près des restaurants.

Les lits ne sont pas hyper confortables.

Great location with walking distance to the historic parts of the city with the main attractions. Clean room and bathroom. Water, coffee and tea available at all times. Easy to check in and out. Good airconditioning.

Friendly host, but too many and frequent messages on WhatsApp during the stay. A bit noisy due to the location on a street with lots of traffic. There was no duvet cover, but a normal sheet and a blanket on top, which felt a little unfresh.

I totally impressed by this B&B. The place is better than the photos. The location is unbeatable, situated in the city center, with a supermarket right next door. We got 2 liter water for 0.21 euro there. The owner is super friendly. We first planned to arrive late, he sent us videos for checking in process. Smooth process, and I think it was pretty interesting. Then the room, we have 2 balcony, but the room is quiet at night when we close the window. The bathroom is modern, quite a good size for Italian standard. I absolutely love this place, will stay again if come back to visit Sicily. The hotel also offered us luggage storage for the next day, which is great because the hotel is in the city center.

It was very clean and in a great location. The host was also very pleasant.

The only bad part was having to use all the codes and remember to take physical keys and card when going out.
