Praia Santa Baia

There was a water cooler so I could get fresh drinking water.

This is a horrible place and no one should ever stay here. I never saw anyone who worked there, while checking in or leaving the next day. I walked past the hotel because the building is in such bad shape it looked abandoned. I was left a key but I didn't get instructions in advance so had to call. The reception area was dark and smelled of smoke. The bathroom was at least clean and the shower was fine. Everything in the room was damp and mildewy. There was evidence of black mold on the wall. I quickly got congested being in there. I couldn't use the blankets because they were damp and dirty looking and I found a spider in the quilt. I used a sleeping bag I brought instead. Fortunately there were no signs of bed bugs but I did see other bugs in the room. The heat barely worked and I froze all night. It was all I could do to get out of there as fast as I could in the morning.
