Hotel Octavia

This hotel is very basic, but clean and in a fantastic location- walking distance to the beach (about 2 blocks away) and all the restaurants. We had a great room on the fourth floor with a balcony with a partial ocean view. Parking is limited so we ended up parking in a lot a few blocks away. Breakfast is included with the stay which was very nice. Wi-Fi worked well in the hotel as well. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return again soon.

Spacious room, overlooking central courtyard, nice and quiet. The room was functional and clean, but fairly basic - as we were only visiting for the one night it was just what we were looking for. The in room tv was really small and the room safe was broken. Good strong shower with plenty of hot water. The hotel is a few minutes walk away from the beachfront, there’s a supermarket directly opposite and plenty of restaurants/bars all around. Handy, secure parking is available through the hotel (reasonable rate). Breakfast was fairly basic but plentiful.

Best location to everything. Close to the beach and wonderful restaurants and beautiful sites to see.

Wonderful breakfast!

Little bit tricky to locate if you arrive during a busy time as we did. Checkin was fine, room good and spacious, as was bathroom. Nice balcony although really could have done with somewhere to dry beach towels and swim wear. Breakfast was adequate, European style. Worth noting there is no fridge in the room, I forgot to check before booking. Also on street parking is scarce so be prepared to pay E10 per day for secure parking. Lovely town, very pretty, touristy. Beach not great
