"A lovely old hotel with modern amenities in a gorgeous ancient city"

The location is lovely, just inside the entrance to the medieval city of Rocamadour. The room was clean and spacious, the staff very friendly, the breakfast good (costs extra), the dinner menu exquisite. It's the perfect place from which to visit the spectacular Gouffre de Padirac cave.

Though it's not their fault (it's an old facility), AC would have been helpful in this unprecedented heatwave.

"Hôtel le Lion d'Or Rocamadour"

Hôtel situé idéalement dans le centre historique de Rocamadour. Parking disponible. La chambre single était confortable et la literie de qualité. Le restaurant est juste en face. Les repas sont très bons ainsi que le petit déjeuner. L'ensemble du personnel est sympathique. Ça fait plusieurs fois que je viens et c'est toujours avec plaisir.
