B&B Baia Di Trentova

We chose to stay along the Cilento Coast because we wanted to experience a more authentic side of Italy and local coastal life. I remember finding this Airbnb online and instantly feeling like it was going to be somewhere special — and it absolutely was. We ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much. This is a beautiful family-run BnB, with every generation involved, and you can truly feel the care and passion behind everything they do. Coming from an Italian background myself, it felt very familiar and genuine — from the spotless rooms, to the home-cooked meals, to the incredible views. What really made the experience unforgettable though, was the atmosphere and the people we met during our stay. After travelling for weeks with just my partner and I, it was so special connecting with other guests and sharing stories, meals, and laughs together. We met some amazing people we’ll never forget. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner every day, and the cooking class with Nonna was such a highlight. The location is also perfect, close to Agropoli and surrounded by beautiful places to explore, wineries, and incredible food. Thank you Adrianna and your famiglia for welcoming us into your world and letting us experience a small glimpse of your daily life. We truly appreciated every moment and wish you all the very best. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab ein fantastisches Frühstück mit einem tollen Blick über die Berge und das Meer. Adriana und ihre Familie sind perfekte Gastgeber und haben durch ihre herzliche Art und die familiäre Atmosphäre für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt gesorgt.

Vierailu Adrianan ja Oresten perheen ylläpitämässä B&B Baia di Trentovassa tarjosi täydellisen mahdollisuuden unohtaa arjen kiireet, rauhoittua ympäröivän luonnon keskelle ja nauttia pienistä seikkailuista. Itse matkustin ilman vuokra-autoa, ja koska pidän kävelystä, uusien paikkojen tutkimisesta sekä erityisesti luontokuvauksesta, majoitus sopi minulle erinomaisesti tukikohdaksi. B&B on pieni ja rauhallinen, joten siellä sai olla omassa rauhassa, mutta samalla henkilökunta oli aina helposti tavoitettavissa ja aidosti avulias tarvittaessa. Adrianan perheestä välittyi lämmin vieraanvaraisuus ja aito välittäminen vieraiden hyvinvoinnista — tunnelma oli enemmänkin kuin olisi ollut kutsuttuna heidän kotiinsa vieraaksi eikä vain asiakkaaksi majoituksessa. Yksi matkan parhaista puolista olikin juuri perheeseen tutustuminen. Lisäksi nautin erityisesti lähellä sijaitsevan Trentova-Tresino Nature Reserve luonnosta, patikointireiteistä ja upeista valokuvausmahdollisuuksista. Myös Agropoli vanhakaupunki tunnelmallisine kujineen sekä läheinen Paestum muinaiskaupunki olivat hienoja vierailukohteita. Paestumiin oli myös helppo tehdä retki junalla, sillä matka kesti vain noin viisi minuuttia.

Itselläni ei ole tähän juuri lisättävää, sillä majoitus ylitti odotukseni ja sain lomani aikana nopeasti apua sekä ratkaisut kaikkiin pyyntöihini. Mahdollisille tuleville vieraille ehkä hyvä huomioida, että majoitus sijaitsee melko korkealla mäen päällä. Jos ei pidä kävelystä tai jyrkistä nousuista, auton vuokraus tai taksin käyttö voi tehdä liikkumisesta helpompaa. Majoitus auttaa kuitenkin ystävällisesti myös saapumis- ja lähtötilanteissa sekä tarvittaessa esimerkiksi kulkemisessa alas Agropoli erikseen sovittaessa.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, and a beautifully appointed, clean, and well-equipped accommodation. I highly recommend to visit this place.

Prachtig uitzicht. Ruime, lichte kamer en badkamer. Geweldige gastvrouw. Super lekker eten gemaakt door oma en heel gezellig geserveerd door Adriana. Dichtbij strand en bezienswaardigheden. Mooie wandelroutes in de buurt. Adriana geeft goede tips voor uitstapjes.

Utmärkt frukost med ägg tillagade enl våra önskemål, frukt och grönt, surdegsbröd, ost & chark, yoghurt etc. Allt avnjutet på den härliga terrassen med magisk utsikt över land och hav❤️

Finns inget att klaga på utan allt var ”top-notch”!

We loved everything about this property - the location, the views, the food (don’t miss Nonna’s cooking if you have the opportunity to dine at the property!) and the proximity to so many interesting sites. But the best thing about this property is the host. Adriana was wonderful from the moment we arrived to the time had to (reluctantly) leave.
