Grand Hotel Riva

Die Zimmer waren einfach, aber zweckmäßig möbliert und ausgestattet.

Das Frühstück war nicht gut, keine frischen Backwaren, Obst auch nicht frisch!

Not a 4 star hotel basic food for breakfast and evening meal couldn’t eat most of it room service knocking at 8 am or not cleaned at all shower pressure was low some staff very hostile especially on the front desk expected more for the price we paid rooms small too on top of each other very disappointing no wardrobe space either lived out of the suitcase no coffee or milk for drink we had a kettle so we bought our own the best bit for our stay here were the fantastic view from the balcony the pool were a joke too it’s not a pool it’s a paddling area ok for children with parents I class this hotel a 2 star only because it’s located in the centre I would not recommend this hotel

Beautiful location, very central and with a great view. Most of the facilities seem quite new, the spa very nice, love the terrace pool. Room is quite modern.

Quality of the breakfast was less than average. Big selection of pastries (which they were good, although not home made, you can tell), savoury really scarse! For the price of a grand hotel I would’ve expect much more. I had the B&B package, so can’t say more for the dinner service not for the restaurant downstairs.

There wasn’t anything negative

Really pleasant and well set up hotel. You cannot park at the hotel but the arrangements for how to park are clear and easy and its a nice walk back through the center from the car park. Window looks straight out onto the street. The breakfast on the top floor has fantastic views.

Swimsuits are not allowed in the sauna "because they could melt". Seems to be quirk of the hotel, but put me off using the facility.
