"comfortable enough little inn with wonderfully kind and helpful staff and a good breakfast."

Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. Location is also very good for walking Bayeux.

Rooms and hallways are a bit dated and rundown.

"Hotel matched the feel of the town and area"

This room worked just fine for us, although if you're looking for something a bit more open and newer, this didn't have that vibe. Rooms were okay. A little small, but that's not unusual . Appreciated the number of outlets and ease of locating them in the room. Hallways are narrow. If there was a common sitting area other than a small couch, we missed it. Breakfast was sufficient and well-tended to while dining was underway. Location was okay, although would have preferred to be in the higher "traffic" area (personal preference). Hotel is not far away, from shops and restaurants, but tucked in a little bit quieter area.
