Location was excellent, directly opposite railway station and the town centre was just around the corner. Was made to feel very welcome by the young lady at the reception desk

The lights in the corridor leading to rooms were movement activated, so felt dark when first coming out of rooms until movement activated the lights on Interesting decoration!

Opposite the railway station and maybe five minutes if that from the main bus station, also next to a small food shop as well as other food locations within easy walking. The decor of the place is fantastic.

The bedroom walls seem rather thin. I could hear the next room talking and watching tv.

We were in transit on an interrail trip, so stayed one night only. The location couldn't have been bettered, being situated immediately opposite the railway station. The decor is rather dated, old fashioned, but the room was perfectly adequate with very good, comfortable beds. The room we were initially allocated was rather cramped with a double bed and unsuitable for our needs, but a change of room to a twin bedded one was readily agreed to by the receptionist who was, in our opinion, a 'gem'. Breakfast was OK with some 'interesting' options. We would happily stay there again.

Some would dislike the old fashioned decor but we think it can add to the ambience of a place, so 'What didn't we like'? Nothing.
