Excellent underground parking for motorcycles, stunning looking hotel

Very much form over function, had to wait two hours for the room as wasn’t ready, but was given a couple of complimentary beers. They phoned house keeping, who hung up on them. Air con not working in room, was just told, it’s not working, the toilet had a frosted glass door, not a big fan, room was small, but clean and tidy. On arrival, we did see a male slumped over the road, appeared to be drunk, and later on we saw two males in some empty land opposite swapping needles. Nobody seemed that bothered by this, so we just accepted it. Parking seems expensive compared to other hotels we had stayed in.

Die Lage war für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt in Köln gut. Das Familienzimmer war grundsätzlich ausreichend groß und der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war freundlich und hat nach unserer Reklamation die Parkgebühren übernommen.

Für über 450 € pro Nacht erwarte ich keinen Luxus, aber funktionierende Technik und ein ordentliches Frühstück. Beides war nicht gegeben. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht regulieren und musste spät abends über die Sicherung abgeschaltet werden, die Kopfbrause funktionierte nicht. Das Frühstück war aus meiner Sicht unverschämt schwach: Obst leer, Rührei leer, keine Nachfüllung während unseres Frühstücks und Aufbackware. Das steht in keinem Verhältnis zu einem Preisniveau, das eher an ein 5-Sterne-Grandhotel erinnert.
