Centrál Hotel

Good Hotel to sleep in for a trip in and around this area.

Only visited Nyiregyhaza because it was enroute to our final destination and definitely would not recommend making a special effort to go there as not much to see or do. The hotel was clean and ticked all the boxes but not cheap.

Room was small. Second floor rooms to be avoided as roof design takes away height above bed. Couldn't sleep as they have wedding events in bar late at night. Its in the centre so expect noise. Asked reception staff for advice on where to go. Was informed nothing is open at night. Walked outside 100 metres and they have a wine festival with crowds of people, live music etc. Finally, they charge extra and blame hotels.com for not informing guests...better avoided!

After upgrading the rooms they are ok. Restaurant is nothing special and facilities in general at low level. Nice personal. Location very good with only 5 minutes to city center where there are more restaurants and cafes.

Staff really kind, the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. But they should work a little bit on the wellness part - details are very important, and they were not ok here - no towels for the sauna, slippery surface around the swimming pool...

Stayed two nights with family. Superkind staff, all facilities spick-and-span. Spa very relaxing. Breakfast average. Was not crowded on a weekend. Price all right for the value. Would stay there again.

The rooms are very nice and the location is great! Breakfast is basic and lacks a bit. Who puts instant coffe in a thermic jar and calls it black coffee? Well, this place does...

The Central Hotel is literally a block from the central district of Niyeregyhaza. The hotel has a restaurant--but we did not eat there.. There is a little spa with a pool and mineral spring hot tub. The rooms are smallish, but efficient. There are not many hotel choices in Niyeregyhaza and this is a good place to stay.

I stayed in a single room on the second floor. The room was pretty spacious for a single. However the only window was a skylight - good for letting in day light, but no view out. Very powerful shower, free wifi, friendly staff.

Stayed here at the end of a long road trip through northern Romania. The rooms were not expensive, very clean and not too small. The fresh apple left in the room for each guest was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was good (modern Hungarian food). The only downside was the car park which was seemed a bit too small for the number of rooms. Would stay here again if I ever go back to Nyiregyhaza.
