Hotel Maria Cristina

It was a very quaint little hotel in a sparsely populated neighborhood. Felt like it could've been great for younger people, felt like a really nice Hostel. The breakfast was nothing spectacular but I didn't expect much in terms of that. The panaderia downstairs was fantastic and it was great smelling all the bread!

This is a lovely, small, authentic hotel in a beautiful, quiet location near Málaga centre. It is a basic 2* but the service is first class and the cleanliness is excellent. I plan to return very soon.

This authentic Spanish hotel is an ideal place to stay as it is close to Málaga centre and to a lovely beach. It is in a charming village with good, basic amenities. The service is excellent as is the cleanliness. For a 2* it offers all you need and more. I shall definitely return.

Well what a great little find! Fantastic service from the team, they work 24 hours a day and are there to help with anything. Perfect roof terrace to enjoy the sun with the best view, lovely, plentiful breakfasts. Great Gin's and Cava on offer in the bar, very clean and everything within the area, supermarket, Friday morning market, the beach is a stones throw away and you have the bus into Malaga on your doorstep. Lovely little square nearby for evening meals and chilling with a drink if you don't want to venture that far, we'll be back very soon, thank you!! Even hired a bike over two days for €10.

Perfect for visiting Malaga ,unfortunately my room had an air conditioning unit right outside the window also a mini fridge in the room would have been nice , but the hotel is exceptionally clean and you cant fault the friendly the hotel staff

First room we were given was not very nice. No view and very small. However when we spoke to the reception they did move us to a room with a balcony. Breakfast was a cold basic buffet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would not stay here again only because we would of preferred something more modern and with a better option of services.

Beds are extremely uncomfortable.. could have used a mini fridge aswell. The staff was amazing!!!

spotlessly clean hotel with helpful friendly staff. located approx 150 metres from the beach.Underground car parking available which is a plus as the streets are extremely busy on a weekend . Continental breakfast is adequate enough. Roof terrace excellent for catching the last of the sun. free wi fi and air con. it's a little gem of a hotel for the price.

Hotel's stuff is very friendly, the breakfat is good enough. Hotel near the bus stop, 20 min to the city. But be careful the last bus is at 23:00. Air conditioner in the 1-st room was noisy adn room itself was poor. 2-nd room was much better. Free parking spaces behind the hotel

You must keep in mind, this is not an expensive hotel and rate it accordingly. I must disagree with the negative reviews below. We came in late because of our flight arrival. Patricia greeted us warmly and as arranged earlier, had placed a nice bottle of bubbly in our room. We also asked if she could make a small snack, which she did promptly and brought up to our room. The hotel is a little tired but spotlessly clean and the staff were wonderful. The typical breakfast was nice presented and good. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
