Hotel Gasperin Bohinj

Location, clean, friendly & AC in the bedroom and secure parking.

Facilities limited, however sufficient for a short stay.

The Hotel Gasperin Bohinj was such a good find. Lake Bohinj is a superb location in the Julian Alps, so the scenery is stunning, and the hotel was lovely. We arrived slightly before check-in time, but the owner, Peter, said our room was ready and let us check in immediately. The room was so clean and comfortable, with its own balcony looking out onto the mountains. We slept really well, and woke to have a fantastic breakfast, with a huge spread and freshly prepared eggs cooked how we wanted. There is a local card offering free or discounted offers on public transport and local attractions like the museums and churches and the the lake boat. It is really good value and Peter fixed it for us within minutes of our arrival. It is a family run hotel, and was so friendly and peaceful. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting this part of Slovenia.

I would give this hotel the best score possible in all areas. Yes, it is a 5-7 minute walk to the bus stop and lake but it is definitely worth. You are away from the buses and crowds but near to everything. Our room was spacious with everything you could want and a balcony. Great Bed, shower, and a fabulous breakfast every day. The hosts were very warm, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.
