No problem with the hotel itself

Nice, slightly aged, hotel, within walking distance of town centre. Comfortable rooms with nice touches. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great stay , only slight negative was the lounge area which had the smell of dog about.

Everything was great apart from the room overlooked a road and it was quite noisy at 6am. Also our evening meal was a bit cold but the staff sorted it out and the food was delicious.

We had a fantastic stay at the Talbot. It really is a beautiful hotel and the team working there were very friendly and helpful. Every bit of our stay was perfect - I just wish we could stay longer!

3rd time staying at the Talbot Lovely hotel big bedroom +extremely comfy bed Large relaxing lounge area Only down side to this visit was the very slow food service in both the bar and the restaurant We waited over an hour in the restaurant on our 2nd night

Excellent hotel in easy walking distance of the station with good standard rooms and food. And polite helpful staff.
