Lovely. Friendly staff, big rooms.

Friendly and welcoming members of staff, felt more like entering a posh home than a hotel. Gorgeous bedding and room. The little extras, box of chocs, handwritten welcome message with camomile and lavendar relax spray - so nice. Hope to stay again.

An absolutely outstanding hotel in every regard and will have no hesitation staying here again.

A very pleasant stay for a nostalgic visit

Very comfortable stay, room size was upgraded without extra charge. Lovely big room. Light sleepers may not enjoy the roadside rooms, however this was very comfortable and really nice bathroom and powerful shower. Blackout curtains.

Thoroughly enjoyed a very comfortable stay at The Talbot. All staff are incredibly helpful, food is excellent and surroundings are maintained to a high standard.

Good position, near to train/bus stn. Very clean, bedding good quality. More suited to adults, but all staff helpful.

The room was beautiful. All the little extras made such a difference, such as the chocolates, Dyson hairdryers, slippers, water etc. staff are very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Be back soon
