Cottage furniture was a bit poor

This accommodation has the potential to be amazing but inside it is run down and very ordinary.

We are embarrassed this is what they are presenting to tourists. We are locals, staying one night after our house sale. I love the position and paid almost $300 for a “suite” thinking it would be to this standard. How wrong we were. Old shabby carpet, bathroom old and ill kept. The 24hr shuttle service was unavailable when my husband had to leave at 6.30. He had to walk in the dark to the reception which was unattended! All up, it was overpriced and in need of considerable renovation inside.

The staff extremely friendly and helpful, especially Pedro.

It was beautiful to view the city from another side and the facilities are just comfortable enough

We loved the location -- it is absolutely beautiful. The room was comfy and the views fabulous. We also thought your shuttle bus service was excellent -- we caught it from our room to Manly and then back from Manly as well as using it once or twice while staying. We loved the walk to the restaurant and all the stairs at night -- were not as hard as we thought they might be ! The dim lights and the insect noises were delightful. And the quiet !

I thought it was unnecessary that a staff person gave us new towels (we hung up the towels every day) and new sheets every day when we were only staying 3 nights.
