Highbrook Motel

I feel like “motels” have a connotation to them like they aren’t “as good” as hotels, but this place was overall a fantastic experience. The room was so clean and the bed was super comfy. They offered to bring extra towels and every night you placed an order online for what breakfast you wanted and what time they should drop it off. The breakfast was also really good (get the banana bread). It was close by to town to either walk or drive (we drove) and Acadia is minutes down the road which was perfect for us. It was a great location between Bar Harbors town and Acadia. Overall a super great stay and we would totally come back and stay again. We already recommended it to some friends staying in the area later this year. Book this place! They do not disappoint. (Also side note go to the Barnacle in town for fantastic oysters!)

We loved our stay at the highbrook! The motel is about a mile from the middle of town, and if you don’t feel like walking you can catch the island explorer shuttle. The breakfast delivery each morning was such a nice touch and the staff at the property were so kind. Communication via text was so helpful and informative. We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the Highbrook Motel was perfect! The room was spotless and I loved the addition of a Roku along with cable TV. I also loved that the staff would deliver breakfast to the room each morning (due to COVID safety procedures) at your preferred time. So convenient! I would definitely stay there again!

The property was cute and very area appropriate. The room was clean, staff very courteous and friendly, and location was perfect. Is very close to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. Felt like home away from home.

Everything about this Motel was top notch, very clean, very friendly and helpful owners. I would definitely recommend this motel and I would definitely stay there again. Loved the location close to Acadia and restaurants and shopping.

A beautiful little motel close to downtown Bar Harbour. Very clean, very spacious! Ordering their continental breakfast online was easy and they dropped it off right at our door in the morning which was so wonderful! Would stay here again, hands down!

The room and bathroom are clean. Shower head has great water pressure. Breakfast options are wonderful and the delivery is always on time. It would be even better if a small microwave could be provided in the room.
