"A great plac, hidden out of the way."

8.0

The New Flying Horse Inn is a pub with a number of guest rooms. My room was in the main building overlooking the rear entrance/ smoking area. It was quite noisy from the locals lingering outside during the evening. The room was small but nice, they have Simba mattresses which was good and nice bedding too. I think the light on the wall by the bed was missing the blub though. The bathroom was cosy, the shower looked like it could do with new sealant due to mould but the shower pressure was great and hot. The food was fantastic. I did find breakfast took longer than I was expecting but that might be due to a surge of guests being there dead on 07:30 when service started and everything being cooked to order. Would certainly come here again if I'm back in Ashford.

"Big change in this pub/inn"

4.0

What a difference five months makes. We stayed at the end of April and had a enjoyable stay. As a result we decided to return but we were deeply disappointed. The overall standard of the hotel has declined significantly with items not available on the menu along with standard fare such as sauces etc. Not sure what has happened but the manager was clearly new and was finding his feet. We are not sure what the owners have done but we will not be returning and not recommending this pub/inn

"Post ferry stop over"

10.0

Gorgeous little pub with rooms. We stayed as it was so close to Dover but still far enough away! Lovely countryside local feel. Huge garden so the kids could run around and tire themselves out. We had dinner and drinks outside then a cracking full English in the morning. Hard to fault it. Will be back when heading over the channel again for sure.

Beautiful old character pub, lovely rooms and great friendly and efficient staff and amazing food. Used as a base before going to the Chunnel but would definitely recommend and stay here again.
