Americas Best Value Inn Starke

Room was comfortable and clean. No coffee pot in room, king size be but only 2 pillows that were flat.Paul the guy cleaning the rooms was great. Tried to check out about 9am Sunday morning nobody in the offices so i had to stuff the key cards threw the crack in the doors.

Best stay in starke for yourself, dont even waste your time with those other run down hotels that are overpriced.

Dear [Hotel Manager/Customer Service], I recently stayed at your hotel and had reserved a king-size bed for two nights. However, upon arrival, I was given a room with two beds located in the back of the building. Unfortunately, this area was very noisy, with people outside yelling, cursing, and grilling late into the night, which made it difficult to relax. After requesting a change, I was moved to a handicapped-accessible room in the front of the building. While I appreciated the switch, the new room was also very loud, as sirens could be heard throughout the night. Additionally, I noticed that the pictures on your website, do not accurately match the actual accommodations provided. This was disappointing, as it gave me the impression that the room would be different from what I received. Overall, my reservation was not honored as booked, and both rooms ended up being uncomfortable due to noise and misrepresentation. Food was not an option for me. The bed itself was fine. The room temperature was miserably hot

MAKE SURE YOU READ SOME REVIEWS BEFORE STAYING IN HOTELS IF SENSITIVE TO SMOKE. The guy who checked me in was nice, it was strange almost like he was living in the lobby illegally with his dog (not certain). From the exterior it looked ok, I reserved a non smoking room and first room I walked in smelt so bad of smoke it made my skin crawl. Second “non smoking” room smelt like vomit or someone died in there. It was dark outside and I couldn’t stay there I was so grossed out i didn’t make it past the front door of each “non smoking” room. Expedia was able to cancel when you call and speak to an agent but it’s a process and online it might say you can’t cancel but you can for reasons like this

Convenient for our purposes! Sheets in one room needed to be changed,but staff was very friendly and helpful.

Best to spend the extra $20 and go to the holiday inn a block or two away. Will never book here again.

When we drove up there was a crowd of people hanging out in the parking lot with car doors open and people milling about. It looked very unsafe. We went to a different hotel. We cancelled the reservation, which had been made only an hour earlier, and though Expedia tried to get us a refund, the hotel refused to give us a refund. Will never book at Americas Best again!
