Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Lubbock

Large room for handicapped accessibility. Staff person who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful when we had a problem with a connection on our tv.

Our keys would work on the outside door that was closest to our room, so we had to use a different door.

Good location and enough parking space

They did not fix and arrange the extra bed. Just the main bed in the bedroom

We have stayed before a few years ago the property was much nicer then. We like that it feels safe for the kids and has an indoor pool and bar. Breakfast was good. The bartender was cool.

Not as clean as it could be, beds were incredibly uncomfortable, the room above us had kids running around until 4:30 in the morning and back at it at 8am keeping us up all night. Front desk accused my teen daughter of stealing from the little store they have (SHE ABSOLUTELY DID NOT) after confronting her ALONE the next day after the supposed incident and her defending herself the lady said to her “oh it must of been another kid” not once talking to me about it. There were kids running around unsupervised being absolutely WILD all night long. The pool was SOOOO overcrowded every night. Not a single dish in the suites to use.

The check in/out process was simple. We shared this reservation with friends over the weekend and the process of them checking in was great.

The bed was too hard and pillow lumpy

The front desk was pleasant. Reported issues to the front desk about no hot water and low water pressure that was never addressed. Expect to be able to take a hot shower when you rent a hotel room. There is also a nail in the transition plate that is sticking up and my husband stepped on it. We were in room 424.
