I had an uncomfortable experience during my visit. I was menstruating and asked for two rolls of tissue, but my request was denied. Throughout my time there, I felt like I was being watched very closely, which made me uncomfortable. I cannot say for certain why this happened, but as an African American woman, it left me wondering whether I was being treated differently. Regardless of the reason, the experience made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I believe all customers should be treated with respect and allowed to shop without feeling like their every move is being monitored.
