Homewood Suites by Hilton Shreveport

I recently stayed at Homewood Suites traveling from Mississippi and had a genuinely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff members especially Ms. Tatyana made our family feel welcome with warm, attentive service that never felt forced. The suite itself was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed — having a full kitchen and separate living area made the stay feel more like a comfortable home than a hotel. The complimentary breakfast offered plenty of fresh options. I also appreciated how quiet the hotel was; it made it easy to relax and recharge. Overall, Homewood Suites exceeded my expectations. It’s a great choice for both short visits and extended stays, and I’d happily return.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was spacious and very clean. Parking was a 3/5, not too bad, but not the best. The location was very easy to get to/find.

the surroundings weren’t the best to look at(there’s an abandoned hotel right next to the property that is a major eye sore). The breakfast was a 2/5 for us. The “cold” items weren’t very unique(a few different cereals, some fruit, and prepackaged danishes). The hot items weren’t good. The sausage was dry and shriveled up, the eggs were rubbery(so bad that even my one year old who loves to eat wouldn’t eat them). So I’d advise looking somewhere else for breakfast. The staff(minus one gentleman who took care of us on our first day we arrived) were not friendly at all. Anytime we would ask a question, purchase something from the little pantry they have, etc the person would have an attitude and be very rude. Customer service was not great at all. There was also a fire alarm that got set off one night of our stay at about 9pm(because of someone smoking in a non smoking area), and the front desk person, when asked if there was a real fire/threat, was very rude and dismissive.

I was dropping off a guest of the Hilton Homewood suites of Shreveport and my car battery died I went around to the front entrance and Jennifer let me in and was so helpful and so kind she made me feel like family she called Randy the security guard on duty and he went above and beyond to help me get my car back started I am beyond grateful for the professionalism and the manor I was treated not even being a guest at the hotel it speaks volumes on the Hilton organization and those two individuals who deserve the recognition! thank you again to Jennifer and Randy for being so phenomenally helpful I don't know what I would have done without y'all!

It was a wonderful experience here with excellent customer service, I love how the front desk shower customers with warm smiles and helpful insights on how to navigate the property and the city. Dehlila Irving did a great job and yes I will visit again. Thank you
