North Shore Hotel

I lead a group of 16 golfers and this was our 31st year at this wonderful venue. The staff were attentive and concerned that customer service was their priority, thank you all. The food was excellent and well presented. A true test was the in the fact the I experienced a problem (that had been caused by a day of heavy rain) and all the stops were pulled out to resolve to my total satisfaction

Great location and well appointed rooms.

The fish and chips were disappointing- the fish was overcooked and chewy.

Location is amazing and staff fantastic

The heating would not turn off despite it being a very warm day and overnight Noise from other visitors was horrendous at times and members of the golf club itself were very opinionated and showed that they didn't like visitors in the bar

Hotel looking tired. Needs re-carpeting and fixing creaking floorboards in rooms and all stairs. Bathroom mirror peeling, sink drainer peeling, bathroom floor bit rough. Noise in room meant we didn't sleep (pipes!?) plus guests in next room coming in shouting, banging doors 1.20am, then woman outside talking 4.30 am (by 'ladies and guests golf door'. Golf carts/people outside window early making lots of noise.

The staff are always friendly and the food is fab value for money. It's great being so close to the beach

Being on the bottom floor and a room above you it was like a herd of animals above you stomping at night and early morning.

location was excellent, close to beach, free car parking, excellent customer friendly staff

The scenery and the access to the beach plus staff were nice.

The bed was rock hard and the bed linen was uncomfortable and to heavy causing two nights of awful sleep....

Took a group of 8 here for 2 nights, Staff were efficient and friendly. Bed was comfortable and bathroom large. Good menu and great eggs benedict for breakfast.
