The place is great & well located with beautiful grounds & facilities.

My recent stay was unfortunately marked by a noticeable lack of care, attention to detail, and basic service standards. A simple breakfast request highlighted this clearly. I ordered an omelette and shared my preferred fillings, only to be served ingredients that were raw, uncut, and simply covered with egg with no effort at all made to sauté or prepare them properly. While I understand that omelettes may not be a standard menu item, the establishment was not busy at the time, and it would have taken minimal effort for the chef to approach the request with a degree of professionalism and pride. Equally disappointing was the lack of consideration for guests’ comfort in the morning. Staff noise carried through the property, with loud conversations that disrupted what should be a restful, peaceful environment. One expects a certain level of tranquility in a space positioned for relaxation, not to be woken up by what felt like a “human alarm clock.” Lastly, I had communicated in advance that I would be celebrating my birthday during my stay and even received confirmation that this had been noted. However, there was no acknowledgement whatsoever not even a small gesture. While I understand that such touches are not obligatory, they are often what differentiate a thoughtful guest experience from an average one. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, particularly in areas that are easily within the establishment’s control. I do hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these gaps, as there is clear potential to deliver a far more considered and guest-centric experience

Tolle Lage am Fluss, schönes Restaurant mit Ausblick: Zum Abendessen kamen Hippos auf den Rasen vor dem Restaurant und beim Frühstück konnten wir die Elefanten von ‘Elephant walks’ beobachten. Und - am fühlt sich sicher!

Die Preise sind in den letzten Jahren relativ stark angestiegen.

Leider haben wir keine Hippos im Fluss beobachten können - wofür das Resort natürlich nichts kann, vermutlich waren wir zur falschen Zeit vor Ort…
