Engadine Inn & Cabins

The inn keepers were very knowledgable about local history and willing to share. The room was beautifully decorated. Right outside my door was a beverage station w/ tea & coffee. Even enjoyed morning coffee w/ the sunrise from a covered porch. The breakfast was creative & tasty. The homemade granola on the apple crisp was beyond amazing!!! This gorgeous home is now on my “regular” visit list for a quick getaway.

This place is magic! This beautiful house from the 1800' has been impressive, and we never will forget the delicious breakfast. Thanks, Rick and Tom, you are splendid with the guest and ready to help with information or directions. Pretty close to Asheville Downtown, quiet place, and impressive decoration and breakfast.

Rick & Tom run a great establishment. The place is clean and comfortable. They are always ready to help with information or directions, or anything else. We had the room with breakfast included which was a wonderful morning treat. The place is only about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville.

We really enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Rick and Tom are great hosts, friendly and helpful but also happy to give their guests plenty of space and privacy. The breakfasts were imaginative and superbly prepared, maybe the best I've had at a bed/breakfast inn. The public spaces (parlor and dining room) are gorgeous with antiques aplenty and amazing woodwork. The room we stayed in was super-comfortable overall, spotlessly clean with a wonderful bed and linens, and a gas fireplace which was just delightful. As you might expect in a house from 1885, the small bathroom was the weakest link, but the shower had excellent water pressure and was plenty hot, so we weren't bothered by this. There's also an upstairs sitting area with coffee and tea and a fridge with beverages. The inn is nicely located. It's off the beaten track yet quite close to an interstate exit. You can hear highway traffic at times, but not to the point of being annoying. Plus you're right there to jump on and get to Asheville in 15 minutes. The overall experience was really fabulous! We would happily stay there again.

This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast. The room was excellent with many nice furniture pieces. Rick and Tom were gracious hosts. The breakfasts were five star! The property is Conveniently located close enough to downtown Ashville with the feel of being in the mountains. Would definitely recommend!

The place was small but cozy, perfect for us, very close to Asheville and Biltmore. The view from the cabin was terrific. The cabin had all the basic utensils for 4

We had such a pleasant stay at Engadine! This beautiful house from the 1800’s has been preserved beautifully and all the rooms were impecable. The owners couldn’t be kinder and more accommodating to our needs. We ate delicious hearty breakfast every morning in a lovely, elegant dining room. I stayed at the suite and absolutely loved it, so spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay at Engandone again whenever I go back to Asheville.

Awesome stay. Spent the weekend lovely cabin with awesome views for our room. Loved it all, wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return. Tom and Rick are great hosts.
