My wife and I stayed in the Mount Hood cabin one night before heading out of the Portland airport after a two-week Pacific Coast road trip. My expectations were high since it was a little bit of a surprise for my wife. All expectations were met and exceeded. The room is exactly as pictured but it was somewhat larger than I expected. The pictures and reviews did not give enough credit to the grounds and gardens which were beautiful, having 2 fit pits with chairs and other sitting areas to soak up the atmosphere. The cabin had very high-end fixtures and furnishings. The jetted tub and the shower were both great. It was really quiet. There were lots of thoughtful extras. The bed was comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. A wonderful breakfast was served in our room. In the morning we sat out on the swing with a blanket and enjoyed the peace and quiet. I definitely feel that we were treated to a memorable stay.

Carson cabins are absolutely beautiful with gorgeous grounds and gourmet breakfast. The hosts are fabulous with many recommendations for hiking and other activities. Can't wait to stay here again.
The hosts and all their thoughtfulness shine through. Excellent place to get a hearty breakfast and head out for a day in nature. Skiing, hiking, sledding, fishing are all nearby. Don’t come for nightlife or bars. You won’t find that in wonderfully sleepy Carson, WA

The cabin was delightful and super clean. The guest robes were top notch. They even provide candles for the jetted tub. The three course breakfast was excellent and way above my expectations. Service was superb. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We only stayed one night, sadly. I would of liked to spend a week to explore the areas trails, restaurants and natural beauty.
