"Wonderful stay at The Millers Arms"

10.0

This is a great location being a short walk along the river to places In Canterbury. The breakfast choice is extensive- oats, granola, full English and Eggs Benedict etc. There is also a good menu throughout the day. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. The staff are extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is happy not to be in the centre.

"Good stay with issues"

8.0

We stayed in the Knights Room and here are my thoughts: Good points: Great location Good breakfast Convenient parking (at a cost) Not so good points: Firstly, IT NEEDS A DAMN GOOD CLEAN AS THERE ARE ANCIENT(AND I MEAN ANCIENT) COBWEBS EVERYWHERE Could do with redecorating and a general refurb as it's all looking tired (not rustic!!!!!). The noisy pump comes on every time a toilet is flushed or a tap turned on and this must affect so many rooms at all times of day and night. The water pressure is obviously an issue but a pressurised system needs to be installed even though I know it would be expensive but so is well over £100 for a one night stay only to be woken up by it during the night That said, I would stay here again if visiting Canterbury again

"Breakfast let down"

4.0

Car park nearby but very expensive. Arrived at 1130am . One of our two Rooms that we booked was ready and available to use. Both twin rooms faced the front of the Pub and had great views of the weir . It was a very hot day and both rooms were in the sun in the afternoon. Room was small . No fridge. Clean and adequate . However room was extremely hot and remained so throughout the night. There was no fan in the room so I did request one from a member of staff who said if they could find one she would bring it to the room. It didn’t materialise. Needless to say it was a most uncomfortable night. Breakfast was a disappointment. The menu on offer was limited to just one choice per person from the menu. Yoghurt , cooked breakfast , or poached eggs with smoked salmon or ham were amongst the items . As I say you could only choose one item on the menu . No toasts or croissants or bread of any kind on offer. Cereals were extra. Poached eggs were over cooked . On a plus point bar staff were attentive e and very friendly. Such a gem of a place in a lovely setting but with the breakfast arrangement as it stands I shall not want to return.

We had a lovely stay at The Miller’s Arms. It was very convenient to park and get in and out of town, and to walk around the city and see all the sights. Very charming old historic building, friendly staff, fun food options for breakfast, and comfortable accommodations overall. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

"The Millers Arms offers a charming stay – they are a local gem!"

10.0

If you're prefer sleek and modern accommodations, The Millers Arms may not right for you—but if you are looking for quaint charm, genuine hospitality, and a fantastic location then this hotel may just be perfect for you! The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast, included with your stay, was delicious. The staff were all welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed spending time in the cozy bar and the lovely back garden, perfect spots to unwind with a pint or meal after a day of exploring. The location is ideal for wandering the streets of Canterbury and visiting landmarks like the stunning Canterbury Cathedral. One thing to note: The hotel does not have air conditioning. Each room does have a fan, and we found ourselves perfectly comfortable with the fan running and windows open—even in summer. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit and will recommend The Millers Arms to my travel clients.

We had the millers room, biggest room in the hotel. Shower is a bit tricky, but doable, friendly staff. We were there on the hottest days and a fan to move some air would have been helpful. Nice location, all in all a very nice stay
