The Crown Inn

A lovely place to stay, very friendly staff and great room. I highly recommend a stay. Also cater for vegans, had a nice vegan breakfast and milk alternative for my cup of tea.

The only improvement I can think of is a small fridge in the room. This would just be to keep any drinks cool as we stayed on a particularly warm night. But apart from this everything was perfect and really enjoyed our stay.

Bed, shower, atmosphere

TV didn't connect, room dusty, unclean in a few places, staff friendliness was mixed, cost

Excellent hotel. The only disappointment was the staff’s insistence on closing the bar early. It was a lovely night to sit outside but they wanted to leave and turned all lights off and closed the doors.

Good location

The room was stunning - so stylish, super comfy bed, lush shower and a balcony over looking the common. And, it was so peaceful and restorative - just what I needed. :)

There is nothing I didn't like.

Sunday roast was delicious with more than ample portions. Between the group we covered each Roast option, including the vegetarian. Options for cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets very much welcomed. Didn’t try the desserts. Coffee also good. Friendly service.
