Lovely large room with a real 'coaching inn' feel. Delicious Sunday roast even though I arrived right at the end of service. Staff were lovely and welcoming.

It's an old property so it's (literally) a bit creaky with uneven floors and single glazing. I loved the vibe but if you're more into modern minimalism this might not be for you. Breakfast service didn't start till 8.00 which was too late for me - business trip and had to get to meetings.

D small cat park full so parked on nearby Road but it was close by so not a major issue

Staff were great, we had dinner which was also very good, our room was good and we Had everything we needed, we had to leave at 8am and was unable to stop for breakfast which was unfortunate as breakfast doesn’t start til 8am, we were offer something to take away but just didn’t have time,

The bed was a little dated as we seemed to end up in the middle where the two single bed meet, but this was not to much of a problem still had a good nights sleep We do keep to a budget of £100 with breakfast, price to stay at Crown is normally higher but for the night we stayed it was on an offer of £108
