Sunrise Motel

This is a beautiful older hotel — so expect that! But how cool!! Cannot beat the water views. Staff was amazing.

The location and views are absolutely breathtaking and worth it on all levels!

The hot water would only stay hot For a few minutes… it keep turning cold.

The private deck (third floor) view was absolutely incredible. All night I could hear the waves, which was so soothing! And the sunset in the morning, viewed from my bed, was nothing less than epic! Really, what an incredible place to really feel the power of the ocean.

Not everything has been updated, and not all the details are perfect (for example, the towel rack was glued on and fell out of the wall), and you can hear/feel when others next door are walking. Also someone somewhere outside was smoking, so I had to close the window when they smoked. But these minor things were, for sure, worth it to me— that’s why you can still find such a great deal with such an unbelievable view!

We had a third floor room with a balcony and it was just steps to go right up to the ocean. The waves were amazing when we were there! The room itself was large, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. We enjoyed our short stay.

Will definitely stay again!

Had a room with a private balcony. Beautiful view of the ocean. Chairs need to be higher or lower to see over or under the railing. Room was wonderful with plenty of room for 2 people. We have stayed there at least a couple times and will definitely come back.

The hotel is aging, but the location is one of a kind. Beautiful sunrise and ocean views.
