"I'll do a one word - avoid."

The courtyard has a nice selection of plants

Well, undertaking steel erection adjacent to our room doors that is to say smashing into a steel staircase with an 8 pound hammer is not what people are expecting. Owner gave reason that existing wooden staircase had been condemned, as if that's an excuse. Arc welding as well. Poor show. I had to watch an owner, or rather listen to an owner, bodge old cast iron railings from a garden together to make a new staircase. Greedy. Miserable. Pathetic. Also, last but not least, a five year child could break the doors in those rooms. Not proper locks. Rooms old, dirty, smoke stained, wires handing out of air con, room never wired properly in first place.
